Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. Files, previews and results are processed in your browser and are never sent to a server.

Is there a page limit?

There is no fixed page limit. Available memory on your device limits the size of files you can process. At 500 MB or more we show a warning.

Can I convert password-protected PDFs?

Yes. Enter the opening password on the file card when asked. PDFs that only have editing restrictions are handled automatically. Result PDFs have no password. Your password is never stored or sent.

Which resolution should I choose?

Use 72 dpi for small previews, the default 150 dpi for everyday viewing, or 300 dpi for sharp prints. At 300 dpi there are about four times as many pixels as at 150 dpi, so we recommend 150 dpi for many pages.
