An image can be convenient when a recipient cannot open a PDF or you only want to show one page in a chat, including KakaoTalk. PDF to images renders pages as JPG or PNG in your browser without uploading the source document.

Step by step

  1. Open PDF to images and choose one PDF. If it needs an opening password, confirm it on the file card before continuing.
  2. Choose JPG and enter the pages to send. Use 2 for page two, 1-3 for the first three pages, or 1- for the whole document.
  3. Start with 150 dpi for viewing in chat or email. Compare 300 dpi for printing, bearing in mind that a low-resolution scan cannot gain missing detail.
  4. Convert and check the image count and output size. Download one page as a JPG, or multiple pages as a ZIP; unzip before attaching individual images.

Tips and things to check

  • 72 dpi is also available, but small text may be harder to read. Compare size and clarity on the recipient’s likely screen.
  • Selecting 20 or more pages at 300 dpi shows a recommendation for 150 dpi. Resolution is not lowered automatically.
  • Messaging apps may recompress photos. If text becomes blurry, try sending as a file attachment or sharing the original PDF.
  • Very large pages can exceed canvas limits. Lower the resolution or select fewer pages and retry.

Frequently asked questions

When should I choose PNG instead?

Try JPG for photo-heavy pages. PNG can help avoid visible compression artifacts around lines and text, though the files may be larger.

Does it combine pages into one long image?

No. Each PDF page becomes a separate image. Multiple images are packaged in a ZIP, which you can unpack before sharing.
