Rotate PDF pages and save a new file

Turn sideways pages in 90-degree steps and download a PDF that keeps the new orientation.

A PDF viewer’s temporary rotation may not be carried over when you send the file. Organize pages writes your page rotations into a new PDF. Processing stays in the browser with no document upload.

Step by step

  1. Open Organize pages and choose one PDF. Review the page numbers and thumbnails to find the pages facing the wrong way.
  2. Press the rotate button on the relevant page card. Each press turns the page 90 degrees clockwise, with the thumbnail showing the change.
  3. Press twice for 180 degrees or three times for the equivalent of 90 degrees counterclockwise. Adjust other pages individually as needed.
  4. Use Undo for a mistaken change. Review the order and remaining pages, save, then check the page count and size before downloading the PDF.

Tips and things to check

  • Rotation applies to a whole page. It cannot turn just one photo or a block of text within that page.
  • Landscape tables or drawings may already have an intentional layout. Aim for a readable orientation rather than forcing every page upright.
  • The adjustment is added to the source page’s existing rotation. Open the download in a fresh viewer to check the saved orientation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I move or delete pages at the same time?

Yes. Drag pages or use the move buttons, and delete unwanted pages in the same screen. Saving includes the current order and rotations.

Does saving change my original file?

No. It creates a separate PDF. Keep the source and check the downloaded copy before sharing. Output PDFs do not retain a password.

What happens after four presses?

The added rotation completes a full turn and returns to the starting orientation. This does not erase rotation already specified in the source document.
